REVIEW - Boston Beanery
Upon walking into the Boston Beanery, you are greeted by a very friendly hostess and surrounded by an old fashion pub-style bar. The restaurant seating in further inside, and is very cozy. The waitress was very friendly and answered any questions I had about the menu. The appetizer menu is very impressive, with variety of dips, seafood options, wings and sampler platters. If a sandwich is what you’re hungry for, there’s nowhere else in town to go. The entire menu, whether lunch or dinner, is priced right. Portions are very satisfying, and dinners range from $9.99 for chicken parmigiana to $17.99 for Angus steak and crab cake. Lunch time is perfect at the Boston Beanery, with lunch combinations of their sandwiches and one-of-a-kind soups for only $7.49. For dinner, the options are for everyone including steaks, chicken dishes, pasta, seafood dishes, and ribs. Favorites include the con queso dip, stuffed potato skins, lobster bisque soup, prime rib sandwich, chopped chicken salad, smothered chicken, and seafood alfredo. Once you see the menu, you’ll understand why it’s so hard to pick just one favorite item. If you’re looking for a filling lunch, a hearty dinner, a few beers with friends, or a specialty drink mixed up by the bartender, the Boston Beanery is the place to go.

REVIEW - Black Bear
Black Bear, located on Pleasant Street in downtown Morgantown, offers a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. The menu offers many options for vegetarians, and the portions are large enough to stuff one person or split between two. The burritos, wraps, and quesadillas come in a variety of options full of flavor. I suggest trying a few that sound good to you, picking what it is you like about them, and then building your own! Upon ordering at the counter a plastic toy is designated to your table, and the server delivers your food in a reasonable time. The queso dip is delicious and a personal favorite, and it is also a great idea to add it directly onto your burrito! For those who enjoy a wide variety of beer, Black Bear's selection will satisfy. There is usually always music playing, and it is a great place to check out the local music scene and live bands. The prices are what your would pay at a chain restaurant, but with much better quality. Enjoy with friends, or stop in and make some new ones.
