REVIEW - Boston Beanery
Upon walking into the Boston Beanery, you are greeted by a very friendly hostess and surrounded by an old fashion pub-style bar. The restaurant seating in further inside, and is very cozy. The waitress was very friendly and answered any questions I had about the menu. The appetizer menu is very impressive, with variety of dips, seafood options, wings and sampler platters. If a sandwich is what you’re hungry for, there’s nowhere else in town to go. The entire menu, whether lunch or dinner, is priced right. Portions are very satisfying, and dinners range from $9.99 for chicken parmigiana to $17.99 for Angus steak and crab cake. Lunch time is perfect at the Boston Beanery, with lunch combinations of their sandwiches and one-of-a-kind soups for only $7.49. For dinner, the options are for everyone including steaks, chicken dishes, pasta, seafood dishes, and ribs. Favorites include the con queso dip, stuffed potato skins, lobster bisque soup, prime rib sandwich, chopped chicken salad, smothered chicken, and seafood alfredo. Once you see the menu, you’ll understand why it’s so hard to pick just one favorite item. If you’re looking for a filling lunch, a hearty dinner, a few beers with friends, or a specialty drink mixed up by the bartender, the Boston Beanery is the place to go.

REVIEW - Black Bear
Black Bear, located on Pleasant Street in downtown Morgantown, offers a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. The menu offers many options for vegetarians, and the portions are large enough to stuff one person or split between two. The burritos, wraps, and quesadillas come in a variety of options full of flavor. I suggest trying a few that sound good to you, picking what it is you like about them, and then building your own! Upon ordering at the counter a plastic toy is designated to your table, and the server delivers your food in a reasonable time. The queso dip is delicious and a personal favorite, and it is also a great idea to add it directly onto your burrito! For those who enjoy a wide variety of beer, Black Bear's selection will satisfy. There is usually always music playing, and it is a great place to check out the local music scene and live bands. The prices are what your would pay at a chain restaurant, but with much better quality. Enjoy with friends, or stop in and make some new ones.

REVIEW - Mario's Fishbowl
Of all the wing and sandwich joints in Morgantown, Mario’s Fishbowl is one of the absolute best. Go in on a Friday night. You’re not going to see the freshman masses with their uggs and northfaces, using their parent’s credit cards and fake IDs. No. Not here. This is where the locals go. If you know good food, if you know you way around a deep fryer, and if you know the joy of a perfectly sauced chicken wing, then you belong here. There are 7 perfect wing sauce flavors, not 27. No chain restaurant logos ranking hotness. No annoying hostesses at the front door. This is the “Cheers!” of Morgantown. Now I could go on for days describing the size, sauciness, and flavor profile of the wings, but just know that they are absolutely delicious. Just right. Not too hot, too small, or too saucy. Just what you imagine a perfect hot wing to be.
Aside from the wings (but seriously try the wings), there are several delicious sandwiches, side dishes, appetizers, and giant “fishbowls” of beer. What else could you possibly need? I recommend the chicken cheese steak and the chicken salad, but quite frankly you can’t go wrong with any of the amazing sandwich choices. The homemade onion rings, just like the rest of the food, are amazing.
As you can see, I would HIGHLY recommend Mario’s Fishbowl to ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE. I also recommend that you check out the menu on dubvmenus.com to read the history and story of the restaurant. It has a bar-like feel with delicious food and great people. I can’t give away all of the great surprises, such as the unique wallpaper and food eating contests (who wants free beer?!). These you will have to experience on your own. If you love chicken wings, big mugs of beer, sandwiches, and a fantastic atmosphere then you need to stop by Mario’s Fishbowl.

REVIEW - Pita Pit
Eating healthy isn't exactly a priority of mine; some food is just too good to pass up. But when I do think that I should eat something that is somewhat healthy compared to what I usually consume, Pita Pit is where it's at.
The Buffalo Chicken Pita on a wheat pita is my favorite by far. Add some provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a little bit of ranch dressing, and you'll be in heaven. It has to be the best buffalo chicken pita in town (and probably the only one). Another great thing about Pita Pit is that they serve Breakfast Pitas ALL DAY. I haven't yet got the chance to indulge in all of the breakfast choices, but I have had the "Awakin w/ Bacon" and the "Morning Glory." If the rest of them are any bit as good as those two, I have some good meals waiting for me. I would highly recommend Pita Pit to anyone who has not yet tried it, especially those of you who want to eat a little more healthy than usual.

REVIEW - Mountaineer Pizza
A lot of us remember how Mountaineer Pizza used to be...well a lot has changed!
Mountaineer Pizza has recently changed ownership, that new ownership brought in new food. About the only thing that is the same about Mountaineer Pizza is the name. I haven't had the pleasure of trying everything on the menu yet, but I have tried the pizza. It is a night & day difference. There really is no comparison. In my mind, the old Mountaineer Pizza is dead & gone. The new pizza is delicious, I would highly recommend trying the NEW Mountaineer Pizza!

When it comes to dynamite pizza & strombolis Rosa's Pizza & Pasta is one of the best I have ever had. Their Buffalo Chicken Pizza is delicious, but nothing I have ever gotten from Rosa's can compare to their Taco Pie/Stromboli. It is phenomenal! THE BEST TACO PIE I HAVE EVER HAD!
Aside from the food, their service is very friendly and delivery was pretty fast. I would highly recommend Rosa's!

REVIEW - Tailpipes: Gourmet Burgers and Shakes
First and foremost, never have I ever had the pleasure of indulging in something as delicious, flavorful, and unique as the Almond Nutella Milkshake. Fanf*ckingtastic. This is potentially the most amazing beverage, excluding penny pitchers, to be found in Morgantown WV. Also delicious, the Peaches & Cream shake is a cool refreshing reminder of the bygone summer. Luckily, you never have to leave the security of your front porch couch, thanks to Tailpipes and the convenience of dubvmenus.com. And as if these two delicious treats, along with continued laziness, aren’t enough of a reason to visit Tailpipes, then let us move on to the burgers…
We sampled four delicious sandwiches today, including (in no particular order): the Barracuda, the Chevelle, the Corvette, and the Buffalo Chicken. In true American style, you are able to choose from six different patty options. The Barracuda with a turkey burger is a combination of perfectly caramelized onions and a succulent Hawaiian combo of bacon and pineapple. Next, the Chevelle with a buffalo burger boosts a citrus honey mustard and onion ring topping with potato chips, which makes it one of the most unique and delicious sandwiches we have had the pleasure of encountering. For our southern belles and gentlemen, we whole- heartedly recommend the Corvette, with fried green tomatoes, Carolina Q sauce, and a brioche bun. Feeling Spicy? Then you should try the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, simple yet flavorful.
Tailpipes, Morgantown’s newest delivery restaurant, has skyrocketed to the top of our favorite delivery restaurants list.
